CSA box is amazing!

I just picked up my first weekly CSA box and it was incredible! The organic heirloom tomatoes were so flavorful, and the seasonal greens were super fresh. I even got some local honey! I can't wait for next week's box. Definitely recommending this to everyone I know. What a great way to support local farmers!

Good local produce

Got a vegetable share last week. It was pretty good. The root vegetables were nice and firm, and everything seemed fresh. Picked it up at the usual spot, no issues there. It's a convenient way to get local stuff without hitting up a bunch of different markets. Happy with it overall.

Always great farm goods

I've been getting CSA boxes from TRACTOR Food & Farms for a few seasons now, and they always deliver. This time I got a fruit share and some artisanal farm goods, including some farm-fresh eggs. The quality is consistently high, and I love knowing where my food comes from. It's why I keep coming back, they really do a good job connecting us to the local farms. Never had a bad experience with them.

Worth the investment

I decided to try the weekly CSA box after seeing their early bird sign-up offer. It felt like a good deal. The produce was very fresh, and the variety was excellent for what I paid. I was looking to save on groceries and get healthier options, and this definitely fit the bill. Glad I signed up.

Solid value, minor pickup hassle

I ordered a farm-to-table box and a bag of soil amendments. The produce in the box was really fresh and a good variety for the price. The soil amendments were exactly what I needed for my garden. My only small gripe was that pickup was a bit disorganized this time; had to wait a little longer than usual. It's usually smoother. But for the quality and supporting local, it's a solid choice. The value is definitely there.

thinking about getting a CSA from these guys. what's usually in a box? like, is it just greens or do they mix it up?

D Derek 3 months ago
It's usually a good mix! I've gotten everything from heirloom tomatoes to root veggies, and yes, plenty of greens. They also do fruit shares sometimes, and I've even seen local honey or eggs in there.

Totally depends on the season, of course, but it's not just boring stuff. They pull from a bunch of local farms so you get good variety. I've been surprised by what shows up sometimes, in a good way.

hey planning to sign up for a CSA box, but wondering if there are any promo codes floating around? tried a quick search but nothing came up.

M Megan Ito 3 months ago
Nah, I don't think they do a ton of promo codes. I signed up last spring and the only 'deal' was the early bird discount. You might snag something if you're a new subscriber or if they have a community event.

Yeah, I think their prices are pretty much set. They're a non-profit, so I imagine they keep things pretty lean. Sometimes they have stuff for SNAP/EBT, but that's different than a general discount code.
